"I'm fascinated by the relationship between the iconic images in art history and the contemporary. My work is influenced by the traditional artists that I admire in every period from the classical to modern post impressionists. I work in my own style to create bold, color saturated images. One of my favorite themes is contemporary women, their look, style and inner world. My abstract works are an emotional response to what I see or feel and my reactions to color, light, nature, form and the human experience."
